Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 2026. This policy is version-controlled in our public code repository. The version you are reading is the version we have deployed.
1. Who we are
Duit Digital Private Limited ("Duit", "we", "us") is a Lending Service Provider (LSP) registered under the Reserve Bank of India's Digital Lending Guidelines (September 2022, as amended). Our registered office is at Interface Heights, E Wing 303, Off New Link Road, Malad (W), Mumbai 400064. We operate the loan matching platform at www.duitai.in.
Duit does not lend money. We evaluate a borrower's stated profile against the eligibility criteria of our RBI-regulated partner lenders and present the lender most likely to approve the borrower. All lending decisions are made solely by partner lenders.
2. What information we collect and why
2a. Matching inputs
To compute a match, our engine evaluates profile inputs provided by you — including loan amount, employment type, income range, pincode, existing obligations, and self-reported credit band. These inputs are evaluated in-session against each partner lender's eligibility criteria. They are not stored as personal records after your session ends. We retain only anonymous aggregate statistics (total sessions, matches computed) for operational purposes.
2b. Reviews submitted voluntarily
If you submit a review, we store: first name (up to 40 characters), city, star rating, and review text. No contact information is collected with reviews. Reviews are held pending until manually approved. You may request deletion by writing to info@duit.digital.
2c. Contact and loan enquiries
If you submit a contact form or a Loan Against Property / home loan callback request, we collect: name, email (optional for general contact), phone number (required for property loan callbacks), city, and loan amount. This information is used solely to respond to your enquiry and is not retained in any third-party CRM or marketing database.
3. What we do not collect
- We do not require your phone number to show a match result.
- We do not collect PAN, Aadhaar, bank account numbers, or any government-issued identifier during the matching phase.
- We do not run advertising trackers, third-party CRM scripts, or retargeting pixels on this website.
- We do not place third-party cookies.
- We do not conduct credit bureau enquiries at the matching stage.
4. Sharing of information
We share information only in the following circumstances:
- When you choose to apply: if you proceed to apply with a matched lender, you are directed to that lender's platform. You share your personal and financial details directly with the lender, under their privacy policy. Duit does not intermediate this data transfer.
- Legal obligations: if required by law, court order, or a regulatory direction from the RBI or another competent authority.
- Infrastructure providers: our platform runs on Microsoft Azure. These services process operational data on our behalf under Microsoft's data processing terms. We do not use third-party processors for personal data beyond this.
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We do not share data with marketing agencies, data brokers, or lead aggregators.
5. Data retention
| Category | Retention |
|---|---|
| Matching inputs (employment, income, pincode, obligations, credit band) | Not retained — processed in-session only |
| Aggregate session statistics (anonymous counts) | Retained for operational analytics |
| Reviews (first name, city, rating, text) | Retained until you request deletion |
| Contact and callback enquiries | Retained in email inbox; deleted when the enquiry is resolved |
6. Security
Our platform runs on Microsoft Azure in the Central India region. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or above. We do not store card numbers, bank credentials, or government IDs at any point.
7. Children
Duit's services are intended for individuals aged 18 years and above. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted information through our platform, write to info@duit.digital and we will delete it promptly.
8. Your rights
You may request confirmation of whether we hold personal information about you, request deletion of any voluntary submissions (reviews, contact enquiries), or lodge a grievance about how your information has been handled. Because matching inputs are not retained as personal records, there is typically no personal data record to access or correct after your session ends.
